1. It’s a no-cloud day. There are no clouds ANYWHERE in the sky. ANYWHERE! Amazing.
2. We went for a walk on the beach. Sylvia thought that was alright for a bit, but when we wouldn’t let her walk in the water she chose to climb back in the Chariot instead.
3. My ears are still ringing from the cold wind. It’s a good kind of pain.
4. It’s a good day on clothes, but once again I’m faced with the perpetual clothesline problem. The problem is this: I hang one load on the line. I hang a second load on the line. The first load is dry but the second is not when I’m ready to hang the third load on the line. But there’s no room left on the line! Do I reel in the second load and the first, re-hang the second and then the third? Do I throw the third load straight in the dryer? But how can justify that when it’s such a good day on clothes! So instead I wait for the second load to dry, reel in both loads and hang the third load out. By now it’s 4 p.m. and there’s only 1 hour of direct sunlight left on the line, so I’m only going to have to throw the towels in the dryer to finish them off this evening anyway. Obviously there is only one answer: I need a longer clothesline.
